I honestly didn’t think I’d like it all that much from the pv – but hahaha, thank the Digi Sovereigns that I give everything a try for a good few episodes. I’m loving the series and can’t wait for the next episode. Though I have to say, the first episode ran by me quick. I hate when that happens. Always questioning myself if that 30min really went by. nskjgns Bah. I’m really liking the two main characters Yuuki and Inga, and rather iffy about Rie. Rather whiny but hey, maybe she’ll grow out of it?

I’ve taken a good liking to the opening theme. I’m unsure about the ending theme, but it seems to be growing on me as I keep listening to it out of wanting to make sure my opinions on it haha.

Not bad for a pilot episode, honestly. I just wish the time was passing a bit slower so I can take more time in absorbing the fun of the episode. The series is already a definite on my “Watch List”

Y-Youmacon?

So Youmacon’s coming around this year – still unsure if I’m able to go or not. But there’s some plans for cosplay in case that I go. Along with a friend (Kagi-13 on DeviantArt), I’ll be cosplaying as KAITO (Vocaloid). We may or may not get to the wigs, so most likely I’ll be like a long black haired KAITO… KAIKO in pants more acccurately? I don’t even… whatever. xD Uhh the most likely and in most likely cosplay if I go… yeah. Okay, imma stop confusing myself.

We’re debating who should be a Blood-Stained KAITO, and we’re both going to be carrying ice cream cartons like bosses. I may dabble in making some custom headphones or something – the Butterfly one likes in Magnet xD I kinda wanna try a sleeveless KAITO – just because he’s gndxirjgkns HNNNNG amazing in it – but my scarred arms are not suited xD Then again… MY FACE isn’t even suited for this cosplay LOL /SHOT

Oh! Another idea/plan is that I cosplay as MatsudaPpoiyo, which is another easy cosplay I could do. Thinking about some Vocaloid songs to sing during the convention… any ideas? e.e

AkaAka OST – First Impressions

Huh… I feel like my Blog has become a music blog LOL… Should throw in stuff about anime at some point… some… point lolwut? Anyway, onto the review opinion blogging topic!

Akaya Akashiya Ayakashino!!!! Why is this title weird to remember?! And LONG?! xD
AkaAka is short for it – and it’s the second VN produced by Hacca Works! I wish I could play it but… a. Can’t read Kanji for the life me – and b. No money… end story on that part. The theme is preformed by Akiko Shikata – and one of my most FAVORITES of her works oginsergikjregn HNNNNNG! EARGASM.

THIS SONG IS AMAZAH!!!!!! /SHOT
I love how it starts pretty quiet, and then Boom! Energy to it. The song is very engrossing to me – and it works very well with the game’s theme. It’s also addicting to sing. Would I ever upload a cover with my terrible singing? Yes – but I’d shame not only my name but the song and Akiko Shikata. She would stare at me like “WTF? MY SONG IS RUINED BECAUSE OF YOU.” And then I’d cower in a corner sobbing. Yes. It would very well go down just like that. BUT I WILL STILL UPLOAD IT BECAUSE I LOVE THE SONG THAT MUCH. _{Actually, you can catch me singing it often when I do my Live-Streams LOL}

But seriously, one of the best songs ever. It wasn’t included in the soundtrack itself though – but came with the Tales of Symphonia Single of hers.

The OST is two discs long – and really sets the setting and moods of the game. Legit. I FUCKING love it. One of the themes I really enjoyed ひとつめの唄 – the first track of the CD.

But alas, I’m ending this post here. I’ll have another post about it once I finish the soundtrack – again, but with brain functioning properly LOL

Tales of Xillia x Ayumi Hamasaki : FIVE

I’m very happy with this album, which is very redeeming of Ayumi Hamasaki in my views. Her latest music has not really been in my tastes with the exception of a few songs. Her collaboration in vocals with Juno and Naoya were amazing! I’ve noticed a few changes in her voice, but hey – happens with age. It’s not a bad thing, really. It’s honestly still very great! Good thing! Woot! I think the one song I actually do not like in this is… Beloved. Progress is… ehhh it’s okay. It’ll probably grow on me though.

I think my favorite in this album is BRILLANTE. Choirs are auto-loved by me. I love the rhythm in it and everything. It’s fantastic! It’s really a different take in her style – and it’s not bad at all! It’s also reminiscent of her old style back in the days LOL. I’m really cherishing this song a lot! There’s so much emotion and feeling in this song! The passion like… burns me and I feel so giddy listening to this song.

*The ending to this song is really… interesting. Kinda destroyed the flow of the song LOL. Luckily it’s like… the very very end xD Though it gives me like… kinda that Ar Tonelico feel in the sense of like… being connected with a whole system and then suddenly shutting down/out xD It’s kinda awesome now that I look at it in that view.

Her collaboration with JUNO was very well done. Though – if I did not have her name listed, I’d be questioning myself if it was her. She sings with a different key and style in her voice for this one in during her solo parts and it sorta threw me off there for a moment. I really love the sound they produce and their voices compliment each other very well. I love the strings mixed with the rock-ness of the song.

The song is called Why…

I think JUNO worked much better with Ayumi Hamasaki’s vocals than URATO NAOYA. (Why the hell are both the dude’s names in caps I don’t even… maybe it’s just the album doing that?) Naoya and Ayu had totally had a different kind of song in the whole album. It was kinda off genre LOL. It was kinda… up beat? Hip hopish style? No… uhh… it wasn’t bad, really. It just reminded me of Onigamiden’s Starlight – which is a song I love very much xD That was the kind of rhythm is had! I will not provide a sample for it – but you can find the album in my Ongaku Section! : 3

Though here’s Starlight from Onigamiden, sung by Miho Fukuhara. This song needs more props LOL

DIGIMON XROS WARS…

… Is a fucking joke.

I can’t believe it’s still running – and that there’s a second season to it? What the fuck? What is this junk? NOT ALLOWED. BANNED. WHAT EVEN?!

I can’t even call this part of the Digimon series! Like… it’s transformers raped Power Rangers or the other way around. Whatever happened to good old Digivolving? The hell is xrossing? DNA DIGIVOLVING PWNS THIS. Hell, this made Digimon Frontier pop up in a new light – SPIRIT EVOLUTION IS EVEN MORE WIN THAN FUCKING DIGI-XROSSING.

The only thing this series is good for is like… inspiration and how to NOT make our Digimon series a joke.

I feel like I ranted about this in a previous post… whatever. It had to be done again. I think I have more pent up but… whatever.

One redeeming point: The OP Never Give Up! – it’s oddly catchy to me. xD
